HGANJ Meetings and Schedule

HGANJ holds three meetings per year in January, May and September usually on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at Saint Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.  An agenda for each meeting is e-mailed to members of HGANJ prior to each meeting and posted on the main page of this website generally within two weeks prior to the meeting date.  A general timeline for these meetings is as follows:

 

9:00 am - Executive Committee meeting

10:00 am - Concurrent committee meetings   (Education, Legislative, Website, Clinical Practice)

11:00 am - Networking

11:45 am - Lunch (provided)

12:45 pm - General membership meeting

1:30 pm  - CEU Lecture

3:00 pm  - Case presentation

4:00 pm  - Adjournment

Continuing education units (CEU's) for genetic counselors are available for most meetings for a fee ($25 for members, additional $20 administrative fee for non-members).  Please contact us with questions regarding CEU's.

The meetings are usually held in the Medical Office Building (MOB) conference rooms 4 & 5 (located in the main lobby across from the gift shop and behind the information desk).  Driving directions to SPUH.
